Dranke’s debut album, Thank Me Later , is slated for a late 2009 release and features collaborations with Kanye West , Lil Wayne and Jay-Z . Drake will be supporting Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy and Soulja Boy this summer on their Young Money Presents: Americas Most Wanted Music Festival tour. The Selena Boutique in her hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas, is now officially closing its doors forever, making for one less stop on the unofficial Selena tour. Rumors had been circulating regarding the boutique’s closing, but on Monday, the rumors became true. Selena’s father, Abe Quintanilla, had kept the boutique open 14 years after his daughter’s death as a sign of respect since it was hers. The economy, as well as Q Productions’ priorities led to its closing. Her last album, X, sold quite well but it wasn’t the triumphant return to form many people hoped for,” said a source. “By working with Xenomania she hopes she can create a really coherent album which will connect her right back to the pop market.” Her comeback is scheduled for early next year, but she will stay out of the limelight for now to maximize the impact of her return. Tuesday marked the release of the Jonas Brothers ‘ fourth album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times. To celebrate, the guys did what they usually do when one of their albums hits the stores… They went to buy one! But luckily for us, they taped it all as they made their trip to Wal-Mart to guy a few CDs and hand them out. Sure, it’s a shameless plug for them and their album to film it all, but, hey, it works! Check out the video above to watch Nick , Joe , and Kevin as they drive to the store, get spotted by some tween fans, buy several copies of their CD, sign some autographs, and hand out a few albums to some random store customers. Wonder if Nick sent a personally signed CD to Miley Cyrus ?
